Arvidsjaur's popular and well-renowned high school - Sandbackaskolan - is now recruiting a vocational teacher for the Vehicle and Transport Program. The school ranks among the best in the country in terms of graduation rates, and our success factors are safety and well-being combined with high academic ambitions. We educate about 300 students distributed across the programs FX, FT, BF, NA, SA, EK, IM/ANP, as well as adult education and SFI. Approximately half of our students come from other municipalities, and we have national intake for FX and NIU Alpine.

At Sandbackaskolan, a trust-based leadership is applied to a high degree, and our good work environment is reflected in the annual nationwide HME survey (HME measures staff engagement and satisfaction with the work situation and management), where the total index for the school is high compared to the country as a whole.

We are now looking for a vocational teacher for our well-renowned and popular vehicle and transport education, with placement in the transport program years 2 and 3, as well as adult education.

The task is to provide students with a qualitative and equitable education that meets both the requirements of the National Agency for Education and the industry. Good communication skills and a professional approach towards colleagues, students, and guardians are necessary prerequisites for the job.

You will work with high school and adult students, teaching both theory and practice. You have a solution-focused attitude, good collaboration skills, and enjoy working independently as well as in teams. You act as a leader and can create trusting relationships with our students and your colleagues.
